Glimakra

Gunnar Andersson and his father Mångs Anders were weaving cloth salesmen and they thought that the manufacturers’ prices were too high. So they bought their own machines in 1926 and formed Gunnar Anderssons Vävskedsfabrik (GAV). They focused their sales on retailers and from there the business gradually grew. 


Glimåkra mainly sells weaving looms and any accessories that one would need for weaving. They also sells books and dvds on weaving and design.
