Designed for use with the Schacht portable tapestry looms, the A-Frame Stand inexpensively answers the question of how to hold the loom upright on the table top or the floor while weaving. The adjustable side arms let you vary the angle, and may be folded up for storage. The Tapestry Loom can also be fitted to the Trestle Floor Stand.

"I cannot imagine using the loom without this stand."

"The loom itself is fine, but the information about how to warp the loom and use it is terrible. It is insufficient for someone new to this kind of loom. I watched the video by the Schacht company many time and found it equally insufficient. The person showing the warping process is not a great video teacher. She skips too many steps and does not account for what kinds of challenges a person new to this kind of loom might encounter. A few years ago I bought a Ashford rigid heddle loom. Not only was the brochure that come with it excellent and profession looking, but the videos are very helpful. I don't expect that I will be purchasing a Schacht product again."

Inadequate folding
"I bought the Schacht tapestry loom and its frame at the same time. Unfortunately, while it is advertised that these bars fold up for storage, they don’t fold up flush as I expected, making it difficult for me to store the loom in my space. Incorrectly measured pieces on the loom itself also caused issues when attempting to assemble this stand to the frame. Also, I was not happy to see that it comes with plastic wing nuts given the price point of this product."
