Handywoman is owned and operated by Janet, she has been making and selling weaving tools at a low cost since 1998. From 1998 to 2007, she mainly sold her weaving tools at different venues, but in 2007 she opened up her shop in Etsy. She always strives to make weaving tools as affordable as possible to be able to promote weaving.

Handywoman makes and sells all types of weaving products such as boat shuttles, tapestry looms, band weaving shuttles, and more. Most of her boat shuttles are made of exotic woods such as Macassar Ebony, Tiger Maple, and more.
