These reeds are sold with the metric scale of dents per 10cm.
- To convert to imperial, simply divide the metric number by 3.937
- 60 / 10 converts to a 15.2-Dent (60 divided by 3.937 = `15.2)

NOTE: During the manufacturing process of stainless-steel reeds, machine oil is used as a lubricant. Your new reed may contain remnants of this oil. Mineral spirits (hardware store / home center) or 99% isopropyl alcohol (first aid section of drug store, pharmacy or grocery store) can be used with a rag and/or soft bristle brush (old toothbrush works great) to remove any machine oil present.
