Attractive design for Erica
"Beautiful design. Came with instructions, but needed the help provided by Dave/Louet to complete. The rear ratchet/brake does not hold in place. The front brake is perfect. Cannot use loom, as I had hoped."

Louet's new table loom, Erica, is a compact addition to your weaving tools that packs in all the features you love about a full-size loom in a small package. It offers more weaving possibilities and is easier to operate than a rigid heddle loom. A swinging beater is attached by a U-shaped steel bracket to the frame, ensuring a parallel motion.
The Erica is perfect for people learning to weave, wanting to upgrade from a rigid heddle loom or those that want to have the capabilities of a high-quality travel loom. Anyone with an interest in loom weaving will enjoy getting their hands on this lovely loom.

"The Erica is a well-made, high quality loom with a compact footprint and stylish design. LIke another poster, I did not receive the instruction book (yes, there is supposed to be one included with the loom — but you can get it by contacting Louet directly and they also have a downloadable PDF on their website on the product page). With the assistance of a video by Louet and the included assembly manual, it was a painless, if somewhat time consuming process to put it together. The good thing about assembling it is that you really come to understand how the loom works, which is helpful when you start using it. I stained and finished mine before assembly. I absolutely LOVE this loom! It’s easy to warp (though a bit more complicated than a rigid heddle loom) and fun to weave on. The beater is light and very smooth and there is a good-sized shed. I bought the stand to go with it and that adds a lot of flexibility in terms of choosing where to weave and adjusting the angle. The only thing I didn’t really like so much about it is that, when threading the reed, the reed rests on the front beam — and it can slip off pretty easily. I solved this by just using some scrap yarn and tying either side of the reed onto the beam."
"the loom arrived without the instruction booklet or any accessories. I'm just now getting used to it. Design is not great but my first table loom so I am a novice."
"I purchased the 30” Erica loom and I couldn’t be happier. I did have to watch the videos online to help me put it together and warp the loom, since it was my first experience with a ridged heddle. The loom is very high quality and weaves beautiful cloth! Highly recommended! @themodernweaver on Instagram"
