May Britt Bjella Zamori was born in 1963 on a farm in Ål in Hallingdal, a small village in the middle of Norway. She learned to knit and crochet at young age, since the women in her family were passionate knitters. She moved later to Oslo and started to work in the restaurant business. Beside she was translating books and patterns for magazines from English, German, Danish and Swedish. She is now also a professional consultant for other authors, designing knitting and crochet charts and sewing patterns for magazines and books for the largest publishers in Norway. She gave out her first book "Carefree crochet" in 2017, and her second book came out in April 2020. It is also a crochet book, but not yet translated to English. She has her own company and online store called MBB Design, where you can download knitting and crochet pattern in PDF-format.
