The Old Tattered Flag

While The Old Tattered Flag first started in 2003, Julie’s story with fiber arts started in 1998, when she was stationed in West Point for the military. When she found the instructions for a paper mache Santa, she made hundreds of them, even sold a few of them, from there she went on to make candles and cross stitch and more. When she opened her website in 2003, she mainly sold paintings and textiles. Crafting brought Julie and her mother after a tragedy in 2008, from there they started to teach rug hooking, then a painting turned into a rug hook pattern that then turned into a large pattern line.

The Old Tattered Flag sells and makes rug hooking patterns and kits, punch needle patterns and kits, they also sell wool fabric and rug hooking accessories. They also have events and classes as well as tutorial videos on rug hooking and punch needle.
