In the mid 1990s, Claudia, a tapestry weaver, created Mirrix looms to find the perfect portable loom. Claudia wanted to find a loom in both professional quality and portable enough to take with her, not being able to find one, she made one and started Mirrix looms. A few years after Mirrix Looms was created, Claudia began bead weaving and realized her looms were perfect for bead weaving, so Mirrix Looms became Mirrix Tapestry & Bead Weaving.

Mirrix Tapestry & Bead Weaving makes and sells portable tapestry looms as well as a combo tapestry and bead weaving looms. They also sell bead weaving kits, loom accessories, starter packages and even more.
