It has been well known that certain color combinations create a more harmonious appearance than others. As such, color harmonies have defined into distinct categories. The most commonly used harmonies for painting, textiles and decorating include analogous, complementary, split complementary, double complementary, monochromatic and triadic. These harmonies are included on this color wheel.
The Dial-A-Harmony Color Card measures 15.5” x 15.5” and comes with comprehensive instructions.
Using the Harmony Dials
To find each dial’s harmony, you first need to determine what color will be the dominant color of your design. Then simply place the point on the dial on the center of that color area, making sure to have it pointing to the line marked with the arrowhead. Now the other points (or point) will indicate the harmonious color.
