Churro Dyed Wool Yarn Dyed
Our Churro Wool Yarn is hand dyed over the traditional fire pit in New Mexico & made from 100% Churro Wool a heritage breed of sheep. A single ply heavier wool yarn that is perfect for Navajo weaving.
The yarn produced from the wool of the Churro is very durable and long lasting with a beautiful sheen. Churro yarn produces excellent tapestries & rugs. The slight fuzziness of the yarn gives lines a gentle blur. Churro is a great choice for rugs because of its strength. It is also used for weaving other traditional blankets and shawls.
