Chiaogoo is Westing Bridge LLC. knitting and crochet brand that are designed and distributed in Michigan, and manufactured in Hangzhou, China. Westing Bridge LLC. was started by 4 brothers in Linan, China. Their mother knit for the family to keep them warm and also tested knitting needles, because of her particular taste in knitting needles. Chiaogoo is named after her, which means “highly skillful and crafty lady”. In the 1990s, the family expanded their product line and production to ship overseas, and in 2005 the brothers incorporated Westing Bridge.
ChiaoGoo makes and sells knitting needles and crochet hooks, they make interchangeable, single point, double point, and circular knitting needles. They also make tunisian, patina, and regular crochet hooks, mainly made of bamboo.
