"I give this loom Two Thumbs Up! It’s sturdy hard wood so tensioning your work is easy and the pegs won’t bend. I am a beginner and I can say that warping is straightforward and easy. It’s portable so you can move the project in progress without and trouble. I wanted to learn tablet weaving and this loom even came with accessories including the tablet weaving cards. I am in Love!"

I bought it because I want to pass on the making of things to my grandchild. It's easy to set up, without a lot of equipment, and easy to understand the directions and get up and running right away."
"I'm so impressed with the Schacht Card/Inkle Loom Weaving Kit! The loom is well made and very sturdy with no rough edges or loose joins. The cards are heavy enough and of a material that they feel like they will work for many projects to come. I've used them once on my first card weaving project and they turn smoothly and provide nice, even tension. "The Schacht Inkle Loom is made of beautiful hard wood with a fine grain. There were no areas of the loom that needed sanding; all surfaces were smooth. Before using, I applied Howard Feed-N-Wax Wood Polish & Conditioner; the grain of the wood was more visible after application of the conditioner. I am now on my third project, the first was uncomplicated inkle weaving and the most recent two projects were card/tablet weaving. I purchased the 220 mm Texsolv heddles for inkle weaving and they worked perfectly. The size of the up and down shed is generous. The included Schacht belt shuttle holds a large amount of thread and the narrow edge allows for easy beating of the weave. The Schacht weaving cards (25 are included) are color-coded, which is quite handy for tracking your turns. Background on card weaving and Instructions are included with the cards. Buying these three items as a set is a very good deal. Highly recommended."
