Named after the concentric circles that this cake of yarn so closely resembles, these color gradients were carefully designed by the Hikoo team of color specialists! Concentric is made from four non-plied strands, which create the distinctive color change. Check out our Easy Gradient Scarf Project Idea to try weaving with this yarn!

Soooo happy to find Concentric Yarn

"I had started knitting a NOHEA wrap, using a Concentric yarn from my stash (probably purchased many years ago), and so enjoyed the knitting that I wanted some more. I was so grateful to find it at the Woolery, and I am looking forward to another knitting project!"

Beautiful. Soft and easy to

"Beautiful. Soft and easy to knit. Love the way the color goes from light to dark. Colt adds texture and elegance."

A very expensive mistake

"I received a cake of this as a gift. It is a deliciously soft and easy to work with yarn. My disappointment is with the gradient. I wove the gradient scarf pattern, warped at 100” as instructed. I watched Amy’s video on how to wind and use the shuttles to get a smooth gradient. All went well until I reached the lightest hue in the cake. The colors look like mud with clearly defined areas of weft sections. Did I miss something in the instructions?? My cake came with a pull out from the center, where the darkest colors are. In hindsight, I should have started warping from the outside of the cake, using the lightest color first. I don’t know if this would have made it look any better, but I’m extremely disappointed with the choppy looking gradient. Not pretty at all. I will have to somehow reattached this to my loom, unweave it, and re weave it with a complementary SOLID color weft, if I’m able to salvage anything at all from this ugly, ugly scarf. Colorway: Pacific Coast"

Beautiful yarn! Nice for weaving!

"I love the yarn! I used it to make the Easy Gradient Scarf with Shades of Purple…Gorgeous!! I was suspicious if one ball of yarn would work but, I followed the directions and it worked beautifully with a bit to spare. The finished product is soft and flexible. I would recommend to everyone!"

Hikoo Concentric Alpaca Woven Scarf

"I used Hikoo Concentric Baby Alpaca Yarn in a large woven scarf. The warp was a solid off-white alpaca yarn and the weft was the Hikoo yarn. The gradual shift from light gray to navy was beautiful. The scarf is very soft and light. I am very pleased with this yarn."

Hico concentric Baby alpaca yarn

"I expected it to be white predominantly but it is not so. Anyway Iam delighted with quality and feel of the yarn"

Awesome for weaving!

"Super soft baby alpaca is perfect for weaving! This is a 4 strand, non-plied worsted weight with a gradient color that runs from one end of the ball to the other. Just a simple weave creates a stunning gradient scarf."
