This "handi" tool is designed for weavers with impaired physical strength or limited hand mobility to assist when turning the handles to advance the warp on Ashford looms. The handi handle is simply placed over the existing nylon handle of your loom and turned gently. This tool only works with with looms with newer plastic handles and not the old wooden style handles.
PLEASE NOTE: We strongly recommend only using sufficient warp tension for your project. Do not over tighten. Too much tension will make weaving harder, reduce the shed and could damage your loom.

"This tool is really a game changer for working on an ashford loom. I have the 16 shaft table loom. Without this tool it is nearly impossable to advance the warp and also to adjust the tension. I was so frustrated with the loom that I really thought about hauling it out in the yard and smash it to bits with an axe. Luckily, I calmed down and contacted ashford to see if they made something to help with this. The handi handle is not advertised or even mentioned when you buy the loom. It should be included with every loom for no extra price. The loom is worthless without it."
