More than a decade of research in Peru and Bolivia resulted in her highly acclaimed book Andean Folk Knitting: Traditions and Techniques from Peru and Bolivia. She lives in Martinez, California.

"This is a great quick overview of information if you are traveling to Peru or Bolivia. The pictures are great and were a wonderful way to ""get a feel"" for what we might see regarding textiles when we head to Peru in the spring. I appreciated the tips about fair trade and how to look at the textiles to determine hand made versus machine. Great job!"
