I purchased this warping paddle
"I purchased this warping paddle to replace one from Schacht that my weaving teacher has had for decades. Three outer teeth have broken on that old one and are not usable and can occasionally catch yarn as the other slots are used. So, I wanted to replace that old Schacht warping paddle with a new one, however the handle on this new style is square instead of round which makes it have a completely different feel in your hand while holding it, something I didn't think would be that major when I ordered the paddle. Also, the Schacht logo is not printed on it, something that I was taught to use to make sure I'm always facing it the correct way while warping. Obviously I can mark the ""front"" in some other fashion, however my weaving teacher loves that detail on her old one and I think it'd be a great detail for Schacht to bring back to this product. Does this product function as it should? Yes. A round handle, however, would be ideal. It just doesn't feel as good as the old style."
