"I've gone back to weaving on my Rigid Heddle loom but really wanted to weave kitchen towels. Found a great pattern using double threads. I wasn't sure how well the shuttles would work on the Rigid Heddle loom since there is no race to slide the shuttle along. I was pleasantly surprised! Took some practice, but it works really well! These shuttles are smooth ,and slim which glides very well through the Rigid Heddle shed which tends to be smaller than a floor loom. I'm happy with the purchase and I look forward to making many more towels!!"

"This is a must for weaving with doubled weft 8/2 cotton for dish towels. As a newish weaver I wove a towel with single weft 8/2/cotton and was quite disappointed. This boat shuttle solved my problem. It s very smooth and glides through a variety of yarns"

"I love this double shuttle. It works so well. I like using 2 yarns for the patten thread in summer and winter but just winding 2 threads into the same bobbin doesn't work. This works so much better. The threads come off at their own pace and are easier to manage. No matter how hard you try when winding 2 threads together on the same bobbin, they always get off in weaving. This double shuttle saves you a lot of heartache and time."

"I bought this shuttle to use (mainly) when weaving with two strands on my rigid heddle loom. It works perfectly for this purpose. The slim profile glides through the warp threads easily. Winding two bobbins gives the opportunity for a doubled weft with either the same or different colors in a single pass. Highly recommend."
