Had trouble initially

"Initially had trouble getting this winder to work correctly. It stops if it even get slightly snagged. With some practice I was able to get it work but it doesn't work as smoothly as my smaller cheaper winder. I do have to say that customer service was excellent though."

So Easy To Use!

"I have been using this ball winder for months and it works great. I am able to easily wind center pull yarn balls that are wonderful to work with."

Jennifer G. (5/5)

It is bumpy as others have said

"It works well enough. I had to google to find out how to put it together. The gears are sticky in spots but you can get through it. The price was better and it was in stock."

"It winds neatly and is fun to use!"

Great quality

"My cheap plastic ball winder bit the dust and this was exactly the upgrade I needed. I love how well built and sturdy it is, and that it can hold much larger amounts of yarn for my handspun!"

Kiersten B. (5/5)

Sturdy!

"The winding mechanism is a little stiff to start out, but that works itself out before long. It is a bit loud. Besides that, it works very well and is sturdily made. Well worth the difference in price over the plastic model!"
