Perfect for Eri silk Top
"I'm spinning Eri silk Tops that I bought here too (white,red and yellow). This spindle works great. I use a short draw method. I can do it sitting or standing (even while walking). I enjoy doing it while listening to someone talking. After the spindle is full, I transfer the yarn with a bobbin winder to plastic spools (made by Schacht) for plying. It takes several minutes (to empty the spindle) and I can spin again. I bought the 3 different types, and I think the ""Paduak/Maple"" is the best for me (if I'm not confusing it by mistake). As it is more heavier than the others, so the fast spin at the start is more stable. Later, it's great for all wooden types (even 1 gram of increased weight, makes a difference). I will buy this again for sure."
