Similar to Merino with a bit more bounce. This is an ideal wool to blend with luxury fiber, as it will contribute elasticity without sacrificing softness.

"Haven’t spun it yet, but will soon. Beautifully soft and luxurious!"
"I ordered two kinds of roving and when one was out of stock, I was notified immediately and given a time frame on when it was going to be available again to be shipped to me. I really appreciate that they took the time to keep me in the loop, especially with all the shipping delays that have happened over the past year! The roving itself came well packaged, and has taken dye beautifully. It’s been a joy to spin."
"First time using Rambouillet but am a convert a. Soft and luxurious it felts up quickly- can be used for needle or wet felt projects. It was recommended to me to use as core wool but beautiful enough to be a finish wool too."
"The Rambouillet is like a better merino and as such makes excellent fine yarn -- about a mile a pound spun worsted. It drafts easily with almost no VM. Mine will be warp. This is a repeat-buy, after I was given an initial 8 oz as a gift."
"Seems great"
"I have just started to spin and love to spin. This was the third wool type I've spun. At first I wasn't sure about the feel. It required a light touch and I wasn't comfortable losing a little control, having just starting out spinning. It had some dirt, but I read in my fleece book that it was common for Rambouillet to have dirt. I was easy to free the dirt though so I easily got past that. Actually I loved it on the third day I spun and everyday I loved it more and soon became accustomed to the feel, which felt different from the Merino and Dorset Horn I tried beforehand. All the way around it was wonderful to spin, after sonme getting used to, was luxuriously soft, and plied like a dream."
