The Masham wool fleece is suited to combing due to its length and is used in speciality products due to its limited availability. This long wool is ideal for hand spinning, hand felting, doll making and many other craft uses. Select either white or grey.
Masham sheep have been bred for over a century on the hill farms in the Northern Counties of England. They are produced by crossing a Teeswater ram with either a Dalesbred or Swaledale ewe, both hardy hill breeds.

"I have basically learned to spin with this wool. It's great."
"Really lovely gray."
"I was delighted to find this at The Woolery. I paired it with Teeswater in several projects. It has some of the same properties since it is a crossbreed. As always, the fiber was impeccably clean. I love that the color goes from an ashy gray to a bluish gray."
"Great fiber"
