Malabrigo Nube Merino Roving
Malabrigo Nube is a wonderfully soft 100% hand painted merino roving. Nube, Spanish for cloud, is perfect for spinning or felting.
Available in several, hand dyed, beautiful color ways. Knitting the hand spun yarn produces a very nice garment which is perfect to wear against the skin.
Please note that this fiber is originally processed for commercial spinning machines so it will be compacted when compared to other hand spinning fibers. You will want to fluff it up before drafting.

A pain, but beautiful with effort
"As many people have noted, this roving is hard to work with as it always comes compressed and partly felted (I found whole reddit threads about this). . . which is really unfortunate. However, if you don't mind streaming the rove, then tearing it into long strips, steaming each strip again, and separating the fibers a little by hand, it is wonderfully soft. The dye doesn't soak all the way thru either, so prepare for more muted tones. That all being said, the end results were so spectacular I'm still giving it 4 stars. Picture of my art yarn here, one ply spun thin, the other thick/thin."
