Louet S95
"I purchased the S95 as I travel a lot and can't always take my Lendrum, which is my main wheel (& I wrote a separate review on it). To be fair, I haven't had a lot of time to use it. It has a ""jerky"" kind of thing going on when I treadle. It wasn't smooth sailing off the bat like my Lendrum. I just need more time to break it in. I have friends who have this as their only wheel, love it and do agree it can require some break in time. It is a bit different as you have to get used to less ""power"" with a smaller wheel. It is very well made, some unique concepts with the material for the bobbin, etc. It is also a very nice looking wheel. And, of course, extremely portable. Overall, I think it will just take some time to get use to this wheel. The smaller size by no means affects the quality, you just have to take some time to get in synch treadling with the wheel. The spinning I have done is definitely turning out well. The wool that came with it is wonderful. I couldn't believe how quickly I got this wheel. The order was processed really fast and I was told could be 5 weeks or more (which I was completely ok with) and got in less than 3 weeks. As always, excellent service from The Woolery. The set up was easy as well."
