If your intentions are to spin novelty yarns on a regular basis, this is the bobbin for you. The bobbin will hold 250-400g of yarn and its ratios are 6.2:1, 5:1, and 4.2:1. To use the bulky bobbin, you will need the wide flyer as well. The Bulky bobbin is clear lacquered and will fit on all current and discontinued Louet wheels EXCEPT: S40, S45, S87, S90.
Bulky bobbins are compatible with the Standard Irish tension flyer, but spinners may find the Bulky and Art flyers a better option for highly textured yarns. Compatible with S95 wheels which have been upgraded with the Victoria Art Yarn Head. The bulky bobbin was designed to hold bulky yarns.
