"Really appreciate the flexible design of this small loom by Lojan. I intend to do both inkle and tablet weaving, made easier by the removable top peg. I finished the loom with 100% pure beeswax, and the finish feels divine!"
"I was so excited to get my little loom. It's wonderfully portable and easy to use. One of the reasons I selected it was that it can be set up for a left-hander. (I'm left-handed but decided to set it up right-handed, after all. ) Problems, though: 1. One of the rubber caps for a peg end was missing from the package. 2. Pegs at the front and back warp when under tension. 3. The tension adjustment peg is hard to line up to get enough tension. It moves at an angle; something that adjusted horizontally would be a lot easier to use. 4. It's easy to get the yarn closest to the tension peg caught in the gap between the tension peg and the loom when adjusting tension. This is my first inkle loom. I was so hooked right away that I bought a Schacht one, which is is super sturdy and easy to use. Just wish IT came in a smaller version! The Lojan has been in constant use since I got it; it's definitely showing the wear. The tension peg is getting more and more difficult to line up to get things tightened enough. I'm wondering now how the small Louet inkle loom compares to the Lojan; whether it has the same peg warping and/or problems with yarn getting caught between the tension peg and side of the loom. I've been able to carry this little Inkletje around with me just about everywhere. People are really intrigues. I've sold several people on inkle weaving; they've already gotten their own looms!"
"This is a well designed small, lightweight loom The tension is excellent. It is comfortable on your lap so good for travel."
