Great Addition
"I purchased this quill head mostly because I was curious, never having used one before. It does have a bit of a learning curve! After several Youtube videos and hours of practice, I'm really enjoying it, now. I've mostly been using it with some very short staple cotton. Since it doesn't apply any tension to the working fiber, it works well for short, slippery fibers. It spins very fast, which is also nice for short fibers and fine spinning. I haven't tried using it with wool or any other fibers, yet, but I really do like it!"

"I love the quill head for my spinning wheel. There was a learning curve for me to get used to spinning from a quill, but I love it.
