Does **NOT** Fit My Lendrum Kate
"This peg is lovely but I have no clue which Kate this is supposed to fit! I ordered this to fit on a Kate for walnut Saxony. Nowhere, on the Woolery description or Lendrum site does anything say that Lendrum Kates come in different sizes and require different sized parts. After much digging I found that the base of the saxony Kate is a slightly different dimension than the Kate’s that come with the newer foldable wheels. For those of us rogue spinners who don’t have a buffet of Lendrum users in our social circles, there is no way to know this or what Kate this part fits. The part is exactly as (briefly) described and well made (thanks, Gord!) but the description is incomplete- hence the low rating. It’s difficult to sell a part online when you don’t explain what you’re selling or what it goes to. For reference- my saxony Kate base measures 15” long by 5” wide. The hole that this peg would (theoretically) go into is 14. 15mm. The peg in this listing has a total height of 39. 23 mm. The base, that goes into the Kate is about 23mm long. The width of the base at its widest point is 10. 33mm… so way too small to snugly hold a tensioned string in a 14mm hole."
