Designed to hold tubes and/or spools for sectional warping. The Leclerc spool rack can hold forty 4" spools; the central post can be turned out when removing bobbins. This rack is has 2 thread guides (20 hooks each) which prevent the yarn from slipping off the end of the tube by always pulling from the center.

I had assumed that the thread guides were pigtail loops (saw this in a video), but they are screw eyes and need to be individually threaded instead of being popped into place. Maybe that was an older design with the pigtail loops?"

"I have to admit when I first saw this I was rather stunned at the price. But now that I'm winding my warping board with 4-5 ends I decided to make the plunge. And wow, I was sooooo pleasantly surprised when it arrived! First, I was amazed when I ordered this on a Sunday and it arrived clear on the other side of the country on Friday! Secondly, it felt like Christmas as I unpacked it. It was packed soooo well! And the only assembly was putting the two legs on. But what amazed me was the craftsmanship of the product. . . . . it is soooo beautiful!! While I thought of making my own, when I saw the detail that was put into this product I was so glad I bought it! It's truly a beautiful piece of furniture. And it feels sooooo nice! This is not one of those take home items you get from Walmart or Home Depot. This feels so sturdy and well designed. And it works even better than I thought! The ease to load the spools is really nice. The spools spin effortlessly. Little things like that make using it a pleasure. I know it’s a lot of money, but it really is a Cadillac! You won't be disappointed with this product."
