Warping a loom is half the work of making a woven piece. While most people enjoy the actual weaving process more than warping a loom, you can't do one without the other. So making the warping process easier and fool-proof is important. The Warp Helper, a simple little device, helps you do this.
This process can be used if you have created a warp on the warping board in the more traditional manner or if you are using the warping peg and creating a warp directly on the loom.

"It’s perfect to help while warping your loom!"
"The Kromski Warp Helper worked well on my Schacht 25"". It was just a tiny bit loose so I put a small piece of knit fabric on the side bar and put the Helper over that."
"I’m basing this review on the Kromski helper that came with my 24” harp forte. The rod end pulls toward the heddle and the block does not stay secure on the loom. Granted, I did have my tension too tight so that caused pulling the rod to the heddle, but it does not secure well to the loom so I don’t think that loose tension would have prevented it moving. I tried to push down on it to make it more snug and broke the wood in two. I asked Kromski for advice and the service person suggested I just secure the rod by attaching two strings from the rod to the front beam. I did that and It was a much better idea than the helper. A redesign that screws it to the loom would be a better idea."
"I ordered this second Kromski Warp Helper, because with 1 warp helper I find the rod tends to pull towards the heddle even with no tension on the warp. I use the 2nd Warp Helper block to keep the rod in place by using a clip and rubber band to fasten it in place. This works for me and I am glad I ordered the second Warp Helper."
