Kromski Symphony Spinning Wheel
Just the image you would expect a spinning wheel to take. You can picture the "ladies in waiting" gathered together in the castle spinning as a group, all on a Symphony. This is a very popular wheel for a moderate price and is sure to be a conversation piece in your home! This wheel has the details spinners have come to expect with Kromski products - lots of finely turned wood, attention to detail, and all the features spinners ask for. Start with a good size wheel that rotates on bearing sleeves that contribute to effortless treadling. The double treadles are well engineered to be comfortable through long spinning sessions.
The flyer is double drive but also has Scotch tension for single drive use (and no additional charge). The bobbins hold a full 4 oz. package of yarn and they fit on all the other Kromski wheels if you start a collection. The Kromski Symphony Spinning Wheel is made with European alder and birch and with its antique look makes the perfect wheel for re-enactors.

"If you want to spin nice, even, lace weight, AND have a beautiful wheel, this is the one. I love everything about it. Don’t be afraid of double drive, at least with this wheel. Watch the video on how to assemble, because there’s more detail than just what the book describes. Would have been much harder without the video. But spinning on it is a dream. And did I mean room how beautiful it is?? It will definitely spin heavier weights, but I like lace/dk. And, the bobbins hold 4 oz of fiber, which is a huge plus."

"I recently purchased the Kromski symphony spinning wheel and I really love it. I am new to spinning, so this was quite a leap for me to invest in, but I am so happy I did. It took a couple of hours to put it all together (it comes disassembled), but I haven’t had any issues since. I will say, as a new spinning wheel, it does need a fair amount of oil, but I have a feeling that as it wears in it won’t need nearly as much."
