This is a very popular wheel for a moderate price and is sure to be a conversation piece in your home! This wheel has the details spinners have come to expect with Kromski products - lots of finely turned wood, attention to detail, and all the features spinners ask for. Start with a good size wheel that rotates on bearing sleeves that contribute to effortless treadling. The double treadles are well engineered to be comfortable through long spinning sessions.

"Spins like a dream! It is truly a work of art and beautiful craftsmanship. Additionally, I feel as though my spinning has been taken to the next level. The double drive is a game changer for me as I have only used scotch tension previously. As I’m spinning I really do feel like I’m transported back in time and it feels like magic! "This wheel! Oh My Goodness! I've been spinning for 30 years primarily with modern spinning wheels and e-spinners. Finally a wheel that made be feel like I was ""Coming Home"". No slipping polybands just consistent treading and take up. Yes it is a bit stiff on treading at first but as speed picks up it holds at a consistent speed lending a consistent yarn grist. Woolery's gift if a pound of fiber helped me adjust quickly to this new wheel. Kromski has my kudos for keeping this style of wheel available. Sometimes old school is superior and that's the case in this beautifully designed and manufactured wheel."
