Kromski Presto Rigid Heddle Loom
This new rigid heddle loom features a sleek modern look, paired with the same quality craftsmanship you’ve come to expect from Kromski. The striking design offers a raised metal beam for a beautiful weaving area. Each of the metal braces on the bottom of the loom are adorned with small rubber feet that protect the top of your work surface as well as prevent the loom from slipping as you weave. The Kromski Presto Rigid Heddle Loom also includes a new Warp Helper Loop which provides perfect stability between the heddle and the dowel rod while warping the loom. This simple addition acts as an extra set of hands, making the warping process a breeze. The Presto features the metal ratchet and pawl with corresponding rare earth magnets which provide incredibly secure tension locking abilities.
And as an extra treat, each loom comes with a skein of hand dyed, DK weight yarn and instructions to complete a first scarf project. Each skein is dyed especially for the Presto Scarf in our North America office.

Easy to work with
"I really like this little loom. In particular I love the sturdy metal dog and pawl mechanism and the tensioning bars -- though I have to say, Kromski could do a much better job with their warping instructions. Warp first, then slide in the tensioning bars and you'll be fine. I also really appreciate how easy it is to put the reed in the down position. That's an issue I have with a couple of other looms I either own or have tried."

"I never write reviews but felt compelled to here! Hello. I am an elderly weaver who recently passed on my traditional weaving looms to others because of old eyes and brain - just wasn’t workable for me anymore. So I switched over to rigid heddle weaving in hopes that a simpler weaving method would work. I hated rigid heddle looms UNTIL I discovered the Kromski Presto…. . I am able to weave again! The anti slip “feet” are great but best of all is tension that works because of the metal pauls and ratchets!! Hooray - weaving on this loom is amazing."
