The new Sonata Flyer Head is a breeze to use with a pre-assembled maiden and spindle that you have to install on your Kromski Sonata Spinning Wheel.
Once the mother of all is assembled it will attach to the MOA post with the twist of a single knob, just like the original Sonata design.

"I love having the sliders instead of hooks although they don’t feel super durable. I would prefer the nice metal wire I see on other brands and it’s easy to change the bobbins. The only downside i’ve found so far is how it feels when the fiber feeds through the orifice. It doesn’t have the same steady feed as the standard flyer does, the fiber follows around the orifice if that makes sense."
"Love my magnetic flyer! Super smooth, easy to assemble, easy to use. I especially love that now I can see my bobbin better as it fills with yarn as this flyer sits in front of the wheel as opposed to behind the wheel and I don't have to reach so far to reach hooks (which hurts my hip). The sliding hooks are fantastic and much easier to slide and adjust that those on my Ashford wheel. This product is truly a winner!"

"I was unsure about the change that this flyer would make to my wheel that I love so much, but I cannot believe I ever second guessed. This flyer is AMAZING. I bought it at the suggestion of a friend who mentioned ""no more hills and valleys"" which is the bane of every spinner. Not only do the sliding ""hooks"" help prevent that, but you can convert your wheel from single to double drive, which just means I have even more love for my Sonata and can delay the purchase of another wheel. Finally, swapping bobbins is a snap with the magnet and while I haven't had to change the whorl yet, it seems easy enough to do. I loved this flyer so much, I bought the bulky flyer for the Fantasia so that I would never have to go back to the old hooks again."
"This is a great add-on for the Sonata. I work with a lot of fine yarns, and the sliders are a big step up from the hooks. The orifice is really easy to thread. Changing bobbins is quick and simple. The extra fast whorl for the Fantasia worked great with this, too. Win win win."
