These beautifully hand crafted knife edge belt shuttles are ideal for tablet and inkle weaving. The Long side has a beveled Knife edge for working threads in nice and tight.

Its first use was at a class taught by John Mullarkey last week. Between his excellent teaching style and having the right tool in my hand, the class was fun! "I love the features of this shuttle. I bought the 7. 75"" but wish I bought the 6"" instead. I like to keep hold of the shuttle while I weave and adjust the warp in the shed using both hands. The 7. 75"" is a tad too big to comfortably keep hold in my hand. If I buy another of these it will be the 6""."
