"I’ve only recently been brave enough to try dyeing using natural substances. And I’ve been eager to see the different ways that various metal salts can turn the exact same natural dye in different shades. Most of these metals, Ferrous Sulfate included, are available from other sources, but one must buy a large volume of it (at a big price) before they are even sure they like it. This offering from The Woolery is the perfect amount for experimentation—enough to dye 8lbs of fiber (about 32 normal skeins)… more than enough to play around with multiple dyes and fibers."

"I thought this was extremely affordable, but when I saw the $11 for shipping I was a little disappointed- however, I received my package in 3 days and was expecting closer to 14. The powder came in a plastic container to store it (I thought it would be in a bag and I'd have to find a container). I got 4 items in that $11 shipping, so once I received my package, I thought the $11 was worth it. Quick arrival, cost effective product, and great packaging. Definitely recommend buying from The Woolery!"
