Icelandic wool is dense with a nice luster. This is one of the best felting wools in the world as it is lightweight, water repellent and breathable. Perfect for hand spinning, hand felting and many other craft uses. All colors are natural, not dyed.
Brought to Iceland by the Vikings, the Icelandic is one of the purest livestock populations in the world. Raised primarily for meat in Iceland, it is best known elsewhere for its wool.
