Best known for the dark, lustrous color, Hebridean wool is suitable for outer garments and blankets.

"Bought eight ounces to experiment with and immediately went ahead and ordered more to spin for a larger scale project. It spins beautifully and isnt scratchy. I can easily say its been a favorite to spin."

"This Hebridean Too wool came super fast and looked exactly like the photo. I am so excited to get spinning it. It’s soft yet cozy and still has that fluffy wool texture. I am purchasing a my wool from here"

Gorgeous and worth it!

"Stunning wool to spin! It's a very deep dark brown/black in person, but from a distance truly looks fully black! I regret only buying one bag right now. I was very pleasantly surprised by how softly it drafted, and spun into a single worsted 3/4 weight yarn on my drop spindle so nicely! On my softness scale, 1 being rough enough for rugs and 10 being softer than angel feathers, I rate this a 4-5, very middle of the road. And I am very sensitive, so others may find it even softer than I do. I would love to make my own winter coat out of this someday, but that would be such a long term project! About half the bag spun up into 115 yards 3-4 weight worsted single."

Fun Spin

"It is nice to have a chance to spin up this Hebridean Top as part of my sheep breed spin study. I appreciate that the Woolery has different fibers that I can try spinning."
