If you are a beginner, a spinning teacher, or just simply dying to have a Greensleeves spindle, economical Bare Bones is for you. This high whorl spindle features a plain shaft but also a beautiful whorl made of premium walnut or maple.
It spins long and leisurely and can take rough-and-tumble beginners (although you should, as with any spindle, be careful not to drop directly on the hook or go on long outdoor trips).

"Although I'd borrowed two other spindles, this was the first one I bought for myself. I was initially surprised by its weight and found the large diameter shaft was difficult to ""flick"" hard enough to get a stable spin. With a few weeks' practice, I got used to the spindle and found I really liked it. It's very stable and versatile, and I'm sure I'll use it often."
