Just a great fiber
"I can understand why some people say that the only fiber they spin is Falkland: it is always easy to draft and spin into any size singles. (It also has a slight luster, if you like that sort of thing, but not as much as, say, BFL. ) The only downside, if you could call it that, is that since it isn’t a breed but rather fiber from the Falkland Islands you have to be sure to order all the fiber you need at one go since the next time the fiber may not be exactly the same – similar in characteristics, but not identical."

Excellent quality fiber
"I've just started spinning this fiber after dyeing it first. I'm doing a short forward draw to produce a 2 ply worsted yarn. It's spinning up to approximately a sport weight. It's very soft and has a lovely sheen to it."
