Great for beginner
"Easy to follow instructions. This was my first striped project--it was good practice. Since the yarn is thick, these weave up quickly."

This kit uses natural color cotton yarn spun and grown in the US on farms participating in the Sustainable Cotton Project. These farms commit to using fewer chemicals, biological pest control, and non-GMO seed. The green and brown cotton yarn will start at a light hue but the color will deepen over repeated washings. You can speed up this process by gently simmering the towels in a pot of water with a teaspoon of baking soda. The transformation of the color is amazing!
These kits include a pre-wound warp chain and all the weft yarn you need to make two towels. This kit will work on a multi-harness or rigid heddle loom and you will need two shuttles of your choosing.

"I absolutely love the way these turned out. They are so very soft, too. Beautiful. High-quality yarn."
"I carefully read the warning in the instructions regarding the limited amount of waste for making 2- 28” towels. However, there is not a lot of ways to save warp on my Glimakra tabletop, so as hard as I tried, I made one 22” kitchen towel and one 14” square piece. There was no way I would have been able to get even two 24” towels, much less more. And the knots in the warp came 7-9” from the end, which would have limited my ability to weave closer to the tie-on at any rate. I love the towel I made and wish there was more warp to have made a 2nd one."
"Packaging is awesome and great instructions included. This kit is thoughtfully made to be user friendly and as a beginner weaver I appreciate that!"
"Lovely yarn and patterns. First time with an premeasured warp chain. I followed the video to a tee! The warp chain started ok but towards the end the yarn was so twisted as it was warped. I thought it was going to be a disaster. I managed to get the towels out but probably wont do a premeasured warp chain again."
"I watched the video but didn't have a suggestion for warping an Ashford rigid heddle loom where you can't slide the warp over the warp bar after each time you go through the slot in the heddle. Ended up only able to make one towel and when I wet finished one spot got really really green and now stands out, can maybe embroider over it. Probably my fault as I am new at this. Otherwise this would have been a very pretty towel."
"Oh my lanta this is beautiful soft all natural cotton from right here at home!"
"This was my first project at weaving, it went very well and the experiment with the colors darkening was very educational. The towels are a little smaller than i expected them to be but a very good kit to start weaving with. It also really helps having the warp pre measured. A wonderful experience over all."
"This is easy to work with. I have not taken it off the loom but it went together well. I look forward to seeing how it washes and wears over time."
