beautiful soft fine fiber, too much vegetable matt
"I wish this fiber looked like the photo! It IS beautiful fiber and a great color, but is full of vegetable matter that makes it difficult to process. I scoured it with Unicorn Scour first to make the hay bits, brittle tips, and short cuts easier to remove. Fiber is too short (most only 2"") and too fine to withstand combing. I am picking out the hay from each lock, lock by lock, then carding it very slowly to avoid neps, examining the batt and pulling out more vm, then carding it again."
