Charkha Spindle
These 6.5" spindles have a custom made rubber grommet fitted to the yarn stopper Stainless Steel disk. The grommet makes the spindles run neat, smooth and very easy!
With these grommets you need not build stoppers at either side of the yarn stopper disk. The rubber grommets takes care of holding the disk in position and at the same time the disk can easily be moved along the spindle with slight pressure. Add this charkha spindle to your cart today.

"Fits my standard book charkha and works well. Just as stabby as the ones that came with the charkha originally."
"Thanks for the opportunity to buy a very rare item. The quality is superb and service uneventful."
"Flawless product. Great service."
"These spindles are the same quality as those which come with the Deluxe Book Charkha. . . nicely weighted, and with rubber grommets which make attaching a leader a breeze. The whorl is adjustable, although for the amount of cotton I spin, I have not had any reason to change the balance point to hold less than a full tahkli. But mind the points! They are very sharp."
"I picked up for an extra and though it's slightly different than the spindles with the Charka, this one performs just as good. I plan to order more."
"Great little spindles, perfect for my book charkha!"
"These are so much better than the spindles that came with my charkha. I already had some and just wanted more."
"Arrived in perfect condition and all perform superbly!"
"Only slightly shorter than my original vintage spindle with a better point and no loose pieces."
"These spindles are much better than the original spindles that came with my traditional charkha. The rubber grommet keeps the metal disk right where you want it and does not move while spinning. With the old spindles, I had to make stoppers out of rubber bands or whatever to keep the disk in place."
