It is up to eight times warmer than wool and it is hand-combed from each Cashmere goat in the spring as the weather warms and the undercoat naturally begins to shed.

"Having struggled to process and spin any type of fiber that includes a potential guard hair or three (or more guard hair that spinnable fiber) this cashmere top is pure joy to work with. I'm spinning this on a support spindle with a consistent 29 WPI and practically zero waste. Pure joy, I think I need more!"
