A Little Disappointing

"With great anticipation I purchased the Bobilon T-Shirt Yarn and followed the Monks Belt rug pattern provided by the Woolery. The finished rug off the loom as stated in the pattern was 24""x57"" unwashed. My rug, following the pattern instructions was 24""x65""! I then washed the rug in cool water which reduced its size to 21""X61"", more the size of a runner, not a rug. Additionally, the rug hem made of 8/4 cotton did not shrink proportionately to the body of the rug leaving it wider than the rug itself. This was disappointing because I was attracted to the product because of color selection, its ease in using, and not having to cut strips of t-shirts to make a rug. I would advise that when promoting this product, you mention the shrinkage aspect and allow for it in the pattern. Thanks for your attention to this."
