Addictive! And practice makes perfect.
"I have always want to spin yarn as studying the 18th cent. lifestyle. I enjoy pulling a length measuring outstretched arms and dividing in half and half again, then into thirds. I pre-draft each segment, pulling it longer and spin/park to twist it. One hint, pull the ends to a tapered diagonal so when joining on a segment there's no large straight overlap to give a bulky bulge, you have a tapered butt join to spin into. . nearly invisible. The roving is great to work with. . . I love the feel, staple length and it takes acid dye perfectly."
