"I was tired of the painful death grip I needed on my old plastic winders. I always had to stop for a break before making it through a whole skein. This beauty is not only like eye candy it runs like a Lexus (unbelievably smooth). It is heavy enough to be a stand alone. No need to attach to the table. Yup, it is expensive. And worth every dollar!"
