Good idea, but…. .
"After 1 month of periodic use, the hardware (nuts and washers) fly off the back. Not as solid or trustworthy as my first skeiner - made by a local carpenter. After spending so much on this Ashford, I will grin, grit my teeth and live with it,"

Solid Skein Winder
"This is easy to assemble with very clear instructions. I did run into a couple of issues with getting some of the washers to fit while still allowing the screws and bolts to join while sandwiching this together. That said, everything else went very smoothly in the assembly. So far it’s been a total charm and it feels like it will last for a very long time."
