Art yarn enthusiasts take note! The Kiwi Super Flyer has a huge 1" (27mm) orifice and has awesome new free-flow yarn guides on a sliding hook flyer.
The Kiwi Super Flyer comes as a kit and is super easy to install on any Kiwi.
The kit includes everything from the maiden bar up, so you only need to undo one bolt when you want to swap. (Note – in the video Kate says 25mm (1 in.), this is incorrect, it should have been 27mm (1 in.)).

- 3 - Kiwi Super Flyer Bobbins which have a 1.1 lb. (500gm) capacity, so less time changing bobbins and more yarn on the bobbin.

Re-doing review
"I had the one star review about it being clunky and that I was dissatisfied because it couldn’t do a “soft yarn”. I contacted Ashford and Kate returned my email and was INCREDIBLY kind and helped me understand what I was doing wrong. I am now successfully spinning my merino/tencel roving with no problems! I still have 4 stars because I’m not a fan of the way it has to be changed and I would love to see them improve this feature (and the sliding hooks to adjust where the yarn builds up is VERY fragile feeling) but otherwise, it’s a great flyer!"
Poor design
"I like my Kiwi 3, and after using my friend’s lendrum and her super flyer, decided I wanted the super flyer attachment for the kiwi. Well, that is my fault for assuming they’re the same. The super flyer for the lendrum does any type of yarn—the super flyer for the kiwi (in my experience) does art yarn and will NOT spin a “soft” yarn. In addition to this, the method of changing out the mother of awl is very clunky and time consuming. We have to use vise grips to get the wooden pins out and hope they don’t snap off. All in all, this was a $300+ waste of money and I wish I would have purchased the Fantasia I had been pondering. No more Ashford for me."

Took a while to get
"Took a while to get here- but was worth the wait. Easy to assemble and put it use immediately. Easy to switch between flyers. The kit came with three bobbins also- The woolery service/ help people were really great as I waited for my xmas gift."
