". . . to my surprise, I got my new tub of Ashford Finishing Wax Polish. . . . I was so afraid when i got this tiny tub that I would need to buy another one because there was so much wood in my wheel--how on earth will this tiny amount of wax cover even half the surface area of my new spinning wheel?!? then i spread it on with a soft cloth. . . the wax was like melted butter , gliding over the surface and spreading over far greater an area than I could have ever imagined! I will be able to wax and reapply for years with this tiny tub of Ashford Finishing Wax Polish. and!! it made a lovely finish on my wheel."

"This polish is absolutely wonderful! It's easy to apply, has a wonderful aroma and the wood is very smooth and well protected. An added benefit is that my hands felt rather smooth and moisturized. I used an old terry towel and simply rubbed the wax in and let it dry overnight then I assembled my loom. The wax/polish brings out the beautiful wood grain."

"I’ve been using this to help restore a 1976 Harrisville 4t/4h floor loom and it’s done wonders so far! The loom looks almost new and the wood/grain looks much healthier. I’ve also oiled the yarn swift and the yarn umbrella that came with the loom; the results on all of the pieces are just stunning. It has a very light and pleasant smell which made it easy to use for long periods of time. I will say, my dog also enjoyed the smell and it took a bit to convince him it wasn’t food… I’m almost out of the first jar and will absolutely be purchasing more for upkeep!"

"I bought the polish to apply to my new Ashford loom and it was a breeze to use. I applied it with a soft cloth and rubbed it down as I went. It has a nice scent and is not too greasy but I would recommend putting down papers or a vinyl tablecloth if you are using it on a large project. I plan to reapply in the future to keep the wood protected and beautiful."
