Doesn't come with handle for turning
"This is the second skein winder/swift I've bought that doesn't work straight out of the box for winding skeins. I'm majorly bummed. The video that is linked on this page shows this swift as having a handle. Well, after reading the instructions, it turns out that the handle has to be purchased separately: ""Skein Winder Converter (LG89) is available which provides a turning handle. "" I really wish I had known that before I ordered. I don't even think the Woolery carries that product, so I guess I will have to go to the Lacis website and see if I can buy it there. Aside from that, the swift seems to be well made. The wood is silky smooth and nicely finished. If all you want to do is turn skeins into balls, this swift should work just fine."
